Credit(s): 3

Instructor(s): Staff

Offered: Spring

Description: Comprehensive treatment of explicit and random signal transmission through linear communication networks by generalized harmonic analysis including signal sampling and modulation theories. Treatment of noise in communication systems including design of optimum linear filters and systems for signal detection. Introduction to information theory including the treatment of discrete noiseless systems, capacity of communication channels, and coding processes.
