CHEM048 HM - Computations in Chemistry

Description: This course introduces students to a wide range of computation tools used in chemistry through computational projects in Python while exploring certain central chemical concepts. Topics include the basics of quantum chemistry orbital calculations, molecular simulations of liquids and biochemical systems, cheminformatics, and the use of programming to study chemical reactions and model chemical systems. Besides exposure to computational techniques in chemistry, the students will also deepen their understanding of molecular systems and chemical principles and develop skills in modeling and analysis of complex chemical problems.
