Description: A laboratory course featuring applications of synthetic organic chemistry with a particular emphasis on green chemistry and developing laboratory independence. Most experiments are performed individually to build confidence in reaction purification, molecular characterization, and material handling under a variety of conditions. The course focuses on classes of organic molecules and reactions learned in CHEM105 HM and thus should be taken concurrently.
