Description: An advanced chemistry course exploring the most important chemical systems of the oceans and atmosphere including ocean acidification and alkalinity, eutrophication, biogeochemical cycling, global climate change, stratospheric ozone, and the chemistry of ground-level air pollution. Includes chemical mechanisms, and thermodynamic and kinetic considerations for these canonical systems.
