Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry Emphasis

Like the standard program, specialized Chemistry emphases require a minimum of 37 credits and must satisfy the requirements of an ACS-approved and HMC-certified degree. Those requirements are:

Required Foundation Courses

Required Foundation Laboratories

Elective Foundation Laboratory

In-depth, Non-laboratory Courses

Advanced Laboratory

Senior Research

Four to six credits of:

Chemistry Seminar

Four semesters of chemistry seminar:

    The requirement for one semester of chemistry seminar can be waived for students studying abroad in their junior or senior years.
